The Members of the Committee have heard the information of the Ministry of Labor and Social
Policy, other central bodies of Executive power on the implementation of the resolution of the Committee from the 4th of June 2008.
During the discussion it was stressed that the network on assistance to the homeless citizen increases in three times and continues its forming. In particular for the 1st of January of the current year 41 public institutions on the assistance to the homeless people are working and 20 non-governmental organizations that give number of services 6taking into the consideration the individual needs of citizen. Local executive power bodies and local self-governing bodies implemented on practices formation of the reintegration system of homeless people. In regions the coordination councils are formed etc.
The Members of the Committee appreciated the work of the Ministry on Social Policy concerning the current laws in the sphere. They discussed norms of the law "On Basis of Social Protection of Homeless Citizens and Homeless Children".
Still the attention was pointed out in the problem issues that decelerate the positive reforms.
